Truck toll starts in the Netherlands

On 1 July 2026, the truck toll will start for vehicles with a Technically Permissible Maximum Laden Mass of over 3.5 tonnes. It applies on almost all motorways as well as on some provincial and municipal roads. Billing is per kilometre driven. The cleaner and lighter the vehicle, the lower the contribution per kilometre.

The Eurovignette will be abolished in the Netherlands on 1 July 2026.
